(Tahlequah, Oklahoma) -- Northeastern State University’s Sequoyah Institute presents the classic Neil Simon play “Barefoot in the Park” by Montana Repertory Theatre as part of the Sequoyah Institute 2016-2017 Performing Arts Series. The performance is set for 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23 at the NSU Center for the Performing Arts.
The Montana Repertory Theatre is one of the most respected touring companies in the country assembling principle actors, directors and designers with prestigious credits including Broadway, Off-Broadway, national tours of Broadway shows and major regional theatre credits.
“This season the Montana Repertory Theatre celebrates their 50th season by performing a classic play that was written just over 50 years ago; the play that put Neil Simon on the map.” Cindy Chanslor, Sequoyah Institute coordinator, said.
Chanslor said the community is in for a treat. The Montana Repertory Theatre actors will hold an informative Q&A session immediately following the show, and everyone is welcome.
“We encourage you to attend and plan to stay for this Q&A session. What great opportunity to be a part of the arts scene in a whole new way,” Chanslor said.
